This poor little rabbit was caught by Nikolai's cat, Molly. The boys immediately rescued it to become part of their ever growing zoo. The boys secured carrots and water for the poor little thing. I hope it escapes and makes it back to its mama. They put it in their clubhouse and covered the wire basket up with a blanket so the cats would not know it was a rabbit.

Deniska said, "We will know if its a girl rabbit when it lays eggs." I explained that rabbits do not lay eggs, they have baby rabbits.

"Well, how do they do that? Do they just touch their butts and it comes out?" asked Nikolai.

"Well I think she's a girl because she is calm. She looks beautiful. We'll be happy when she lays baby rabbits. Are you sure she won't lay eggs?"
