Mountain picnic

Today Dennis and I joined my brother and his family for a family picnic in the mountains. We went to one of our local parks where it was about 10 degrees cooler since it is tucked away in the mountain. It was a nice time to spend with family. I think there was about 22 of us.


This is the shelter where we ate. We didn't have to walk too far into the forest.

    I am trying to figure out which park that is, but I am drawing a blank. :) It's beautiful though.

    Taken with your phone? I am impressed. I have a phone that is supposed to take good pictures, but I rarely take pictures with it. I don't know hot to get them OFF the camera. Glad you had a chance to escape the heat! Is it cooling off?
