Inside on a snow day

When you can't go outside, you turn the living room into one gigantic playing room!

  1. That brings back wonderful memories of when we would let the boys anchor sheets on the chairs and make a "tent"...they would crawl under there and play all day!!

    Enjoy those times, Faye

  2. Looks like they were really enjoying their snow day home from school.I am thinking that snow days are rather rare in your area.School has already been cancelled tomorrow.I have lost track of how many snow days they have had off from school this school year. They will be made up at the end of the school year.

  3. These snow days are just the best of times! You always remember them even when you grow up. The boys look like they are oblivious to you and your camera in the midst of all their fun!

You living room looks so cozy. I love the chest along the one wall. The Dutch call them blanket chests since they use them to store blankets in. And the 9-patch quilt on your couch is so pretty! Oh yes, I will always notice a quilt...lol. A great room to be snowed in at.

    Hugs from Holland ~

  4. Love the red walls!!

St. Therese

St. Therese, the Little Flower, please pick me a rose from the heavenly garden and send it to me with a message of love. Ask God to grant me the favor I thee implore, and tell Him I will love Him each day, more and more.
