I have 5 more school days before I am out for a summer break. It's been a tough year and one that I am glad is behind me. I will be glad for nice long summer days to rest and recharge.
May is Mental Health Month. One in 4 American adults live with a diagnosable, treatable mental health condition. Look around you, you might be that one. Don't be afraid to ask for help from your doctor, family, and friends. Take care of yourself. As for me, I am one of those 4 adults. I'm glad that I have help daily so I can live a wonderful life!

A stretch of rest and relaxation ahead for you - how nice, I'm definitely envious.
ReplyDeleteUnderstand your sentiments in the last paragraph having also been one of those one in four adults.
Asking for help or even acknowledging a problem is often the first step and the more people talk about it and share it then hopefully the less people will need to suffer alone.
Have a wonderful summer and take care of yourself!

Yes, that is exactly what we have left. And I agree with you about the mental health. I know someone who might be mentally ill...
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! It sounds like you definitely need the break. I hope you are able to feel rested soon! Thanks for playing 6WS.
ReplyDeleteAre you in the States? That's a lot of child care for working parents :(
ReplyDeleteThe UK end of term is not until almost the end of July.
Happy summer!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming over and commenting on my frustration at Of Such is the Kingdom. As always, my comforter sent a simple and restful answer.

I hope you get your well-deserved break. Summer was always my time to recharge my batteries. I think kids need that down-time as well. Hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend!
