Our little town always has fireworks on the 4th of July. We look forward to it every year. We are having visitors for this holiday weekend, should be lots of fun!! Hope everyone has a happy weekend!
The big fireworks displays are fun! I get nervous with the ones that people shoot off at home though. I am always concerned for kids safety and also fires...especially when it is hot and dry.
This sounds like a fine weekend, Susan! A whole lot better than ours. Happy 4th! We are just two old folks who might go to symphony tonight to hear them play "Eagles" songs.
Tomorrow after church (I am teaching Sunday school) we plan to eat with some of the kids at a Mexican restaurant. Our grandkid, Jenna, is goint to move to Abiline (TX) for a new job long term work assignment.
Fireworks have all been cancelled except down closer to the Gulf because of the drought and our burn ban. Tuesday we will put out the flag and eat a hot dog (so far our plans). ..
Amazing photo! There's some concern locally about dry conditions so I'm hoping most people will opt to just let the professionals set off fireworks. I'm afraid we may have to get ugly with a neighbor otherwise. Enjoy the festivities!
well, enjoy all there is to be enjoyed!! you'd love living here as we host an international fireworks competition, plus all of the other occasions... :)~ HUGZ
Loved Independence Day when I visited America in '87. Hope you have a great one - I love fireworks :-)
