Cleaned House and Ready to Rest!
I have spent the past four days cleaning house for Christmas. You know, the type of cleaning where you pull everything out to sweep and mop behind, you wipe the walls, de-clutter hot spots, throw away useless stuff and mail that has been collecting, make room for the tree, mop the entire house, DUST everything (including the kids!) Which brings me to Thanksgiving Days 25 and 26. I am thankful for the ability to physically clean house and I am thankful for a family that helps me clean. This leads me to my 6 word Saturday, "Cleaned House and Ready to Rest!"

A New Recipe - I gave it a 6.5 out of 10

Now that cat looks comfortable!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment last week. I just cleaned my house for my mini tree to, but my baby's already made it a mess again! I love your photo here.
ReplyDeleteThat kitty looks so sweet! I hope you get to rest and enjoy your clean house!
ReplyDeleteI am a bit behind...I am trying to catch up!! Will you please come to my house and clean like this? :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the snow picture; I too am grateful for my job & my husband's job. LOVE LOVE LOVE the picture of the boys and their painted faces.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
I've been trying to do some of that cleaning, too. Four of the grandchildren were here for two days with 2 of their dogs. And yes, I'm thankful that I'm physically able to do it (even though it takes me longer now than it used to.)
ReplyDeleteThat must be a good feeling! Glad too everyone helped you get the job done! Now onward to Christmas! May you enjoy the season ahead!

Susan, it looks like the cat is glad for a nice freshly cleaned house too! :)
ReplyDeleteIt must be a good feeling to be that far ahead. With two dogs and a cat we can't do anything final except for the day before.
..
So wish my house was clean and I was ready to rest. I so admire you ladies with energy and enthusiasm for the holidays. It seems the older I get the longer it takes for Christmas to arrive at my house.

I'll probably do my cleaning this week and put up our little tree next weekend. Neither of us were in the mood yet, which is okay because Thanksgiving was early this year. Enjoy your clean house and your sleeping kitty!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing 6WS!
You clean - cat undoes your work.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
