The living room is almost finished. We still need to hang my plate racks and a few other small items, but for the most part it is finished. We liked how it turned out. The color is a raspberry and doesn't look like this in person. It's a deeper color, but still you get the idea.

Indeed- your Grandma Joyce is right! And proud so she should be! The room is gorgeous - I have been trying to decide between a true red or a medium coral for our living room - we are so tired of gray and celery! Color is wonderful attitude therapy: people need to choose colors they will feel good about, rather than what the paint resources dictate.
